One of my favorite jackets for spring is the trench coat. It adds a chic and elegant vibe to all my outfits. I also love that it instantly elevates a more casual look. My trench coat is from Everlane, and I sized down to the XXS as it runs slightly large. I want to mention as well that this trench is not water resistant. I linked a similar option below from Madewell that is water resistant as well as different options at different price points. I just recently ordered this black one from H&M.
