Fall weather is just around the corner, and I’m planning on sharing a lot of fall outfit ideas. It’s my favorite season to dress for and my favorite season overall. Crisp weather, pumpkin everything, fall movies, it’s the best! I’m so excited to start sharing some fall outfit inspiration, and we are starting with this cool girl look featuring a few on trend styles like a striped button down, denim on denim, and classic loafers.
Fall style is all about layering; that’s what makes this season so fun to dress for. This button down is a green and white stripe, but it comes in a few other stripe options as well as solid colors. It’s very oversized, but light weight enough that tucking doesn’t result in too much bulk. I plan on wearing this untucked as well with slim cut denim, like my Levi’s 501 Crops.

I love my oversized denim jacket but wanted to try out the denim shirt jacket trend which is similar. This one from Anthropologie (rented from my Nuuly subscription; use this link for $20 off!) is a bit boxy and fits oversized. For bottoms, I picked a medium wash denim that matched pretty closely to this shirt jacket. These are my Levi’s Ribcage Straight Ankle Jeans which are a true straight leg with a high rise and button fly. Mine are an old wash, but this wash is really similar.
